From an abandoned Olympic swimming pool to a modern padel complex, this space was completely reimagined to create a sports landmark, where the old and the contemporary merge in a functional design full of identity.

Preserving the architectural essence and making the most of the existing structure, the former swimming pool was transformed into a dynamic and contemporary arena. The original depth now becomes the central stage for the padel courts, flanked by a grandstand that reinforces the unique character of Pro Padel.
The complex includes an inviting bar, designed for players and visitors to relax and socialize between matches. Integrated into the sports environment, it offers a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, ideal for recharging and enjoying moments of conviviality.
Lighting, colors, and textures were carefully considered to emphasize the scale of the space, while materials such as steel, wood, and cork ensure a modern and durable aesthetic.
PROJECT DETAILS
By taking advantage of the vast space of the former swimming pool, an iconic site was transformed into a sports reference, where design and functionality come together harmoniously, while maintaining a strong and distinctive identity.
Access to the changing rooms was conceived as a transitional space between the intensity of the game and the moment of rest. Linear lighting follows the curvature of the corridor, guiding movement and creating an immersive atmosphere. The choice of materials and colors reinforces visual continuity and comfort.
